My first Puree

My first puree was steam broccoli. Mummy felt that steamed food is more nutritious compare to boiling and microwave. This was what she did yesterday.

Making Puree
============
1. Steam the broccoli(or any vegetable) for 15-20 mins.
2. Using a fork, check that the vegetable is totally cooked and soft.
3. Blend all using a hand-blender.
4. Portion serving into storage cups with lids and freeze at -18 or lower temperature. (Frozen food to be consumed within 6 mths)

Serving Puree
=============
1. Thaw frozen puree by putting in the fridge compartment a day before serving or place it on a food warmer for 15-20 mins.
2. Check the food temperature before serving. (Thawed in fridge to be consumed within 72hrs)

Tools used
==========
1. Steamer
2. Braun Miniprimer Pro Blender 600Watt
3. Avent VIA Storage Systems with lids

After having my broccoli puree, my poo poo was darker in colour. Actually, it resembles what i ate. Greenish and slummy. Alright too much details.

Next in line will be the carrot puree...wonder if my poo poo will turn orange this time.
