Bye bye Mummy?

Yesterday, after having dinner, Daddy carried me from the baby chair and said "Say bye bye to Mummy". So i waved. I must say Daddy certainly didn't expect that. Since, he has been asking me to wave and wave.... Yawn...

Separation Anxiety

Mummy have been taking care of me since birth and the longest duration we were separated was 8 hours. I have since developed a strong bond and attachment to her and now i am suffering from separation anxiety. Nowadays, i do not wish to be carried by anyone other than Mummy. I know this is not good but i just couldn't help it. I hope this anxiety goes off soon. Mummy is also trying to help me get accustomed by passing me to others as much as possible.

Standing Tall Chasing Laptop

I love playing with laptops. Whenever Daddy or Mummy uses it, i will definitely crawl by and disturb. Sometimes, they will put me in my cot while both are busy surfing.

Today, i surprised them by standing in the cot holding on to the cot. Mummy was shocked seeing me at eye-level with part of my body hanging off the cot and asked Daddy to lower my bed.

On Fours Making Noises

I am now practicing to go on all fours learning to crawl. But, currently could only stay in that position for a short while before slid forward. Soon, i will be able to crawl and move about the house.

I have progress in my baby talk skill too. I can make sound like "maaa", "baaa' and scream/cry louder too.

Sitting Upright

Yes! I can sit upright myself. I can finally put toys on my lap. I like sitting and standing as i can see more of the surrounding and zoom in on what Mummy is doing. Nothing can escape from my SUPERvision now.

Roll over

I can roll over!!!
Though still an amateur, i'm sure with more practices i will be a pro in no time. It feels great to learn new things and everyday is a new learning experience. I like surprising Daddy and Mummy just like i did this morning. Looking at their amazed expressions make me laugh. Often, they will continue to encourage me to repeat what I've done but i will just act blur and look blur :P

My Development to-date

I am now able to do a turn from back to tummy and vice versa.
Showed it to Mummy this morning during nappy change and to Daddy this evening.
Been mumbling a lot, communicating my hunger, sleepiness and loneliness.

Attained Level 2 of Thumb Pacifier.
Each time Mummy caught me, she would shake her head and say "No, Mummy don't like" hoping the message will get across.

Things that will make me laugh or smile right now
- "kick kick", "kicking"
- 1,2,3 in very amusing and exaggerating tone
- Attention from Daddy during meal times
- Daddy calling my name and playing rough with me eg. raising me toward the ceiling
- Playing with Mummy when someone else is carrying me
